The Langley Community Farmers Market Society is excited to announce their 4th Annual Gumboot Gala!
The Gumboot Gala is their annual fundraiser, featuring a night of dinner and dancing to celebrate the bounty of our local farms. Funds raised will benefit the market’s programming, including their Food Recovery Program and the Nutrition Coupon Program.
The 2019 Gumboot Gala is being hosted at MacInnes Farm providing a beautiful, outdoor backdrop for this year's festivities. MacInnes Farms just happens to be the home of the fictional Hope Valley, which is where the TV show "When Calls the Heart" is filmed. Attendees will be able to see the town and may be able to walk over for a closer view but will not actually be allowed on the set itself. Gumboot footwear is encouraged...but not necessary, despite the outdoor location.
On the Menu! Chef Christopher Roper from the Fat Cow and Oyster Bar as well as The Black Radish Catering Co. will be preparing a farm-to-table FEAST that you will not forget, prepared with food donated by Langley Farmers' Market vendors. Dinner will be at 5:30pm. A cash bar will available on-site and entertainment will be provided by The Cole Patenaude Band.
It's going to be a terrific night and a terrific way to support the local makers, bakers and growers in our community.
There are only 100 tickets available so don't delay. Get your tickets here !
Hope to see you there!
